VAJRA
A lifter standing with a loaded barbell held at the hips in a dark studio, the room falling away behind them

A coached strength studio in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.

The weight doesn’t negotiate.

Six programmes, organised by what you actually want. Six coaches who know your numbers. One room in Jhamsikhel that has been open since 2019.

01 — The curriculum

Start with what you want

Three goals, six blocks. Pick the outcome and the programme follows — nothing here is a class you drop into and forget.

01 — Muscle

Build muscle

Progressive hypertrophy work on a small number of lifts, at a volume you can actually recover from. You are weighed, measured and re-tested on a fixed schedule.

  • M-01 Hypertrophy Block 12 wks
    4×/wk

    Twelve weeks of accumulating tissue.

  • M-02 Press & Pull 8 wks
    3×/wk

Eight weeks on the upper body, honestly.

02 — The creed

How this floor works

01

We coach, we don’t cheer

Every session on this floor has a coach in it who knows your numbers and will tell you when the set was bad.

02

The plan is written down

You get a block, a length and a test date. If you cannot see what week you are in, we have failed you.

03

Nobody trains alone here

You will learn the names of the people who lift at your hour. That is the point, and it is the reason people stay.

04

Load is earned

Positions before weight, every time. It costs six weeks and saves six years.

05 — The studio

One long room, built for lifting

VAJRA is one long room on the second floor of a converted warehouse off Dhobighat Road, with a platform end, a conditioning end and a glassed studio in between.

It was built for lifting first. The floor is sprung under the platforms, the ceiling clears four metres so a bar overhead is never a problem, and the extraction runs hard enough that the room at 18:30 smells like a gym rather than like a crowd.
