Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon
Pairs with: Ribeye steak, Braised short rib
Zinfandel · Dry Creek Valley AVA
Tasting Notes
Head-trained vines planted in 1948 on rocky benchland soils. These survivors yield tiny clusters of intensely flavored fruit. We handle them with the reverence they deserve — minimal intervention, whole-cluster fermentation, and patient barrel aging.
Nose
Exuberant and generous — wild bramble and fresh-baked pie give way to vanilla bean, clove, and a wisp of tobacco.
Palate
Round and lush, with the characteristic jammy richness balanced by firm acidity and fine-grained tannins. The old vine concentration is unmistakable.
Finish
Warm and lingering with a peppery spice note that carries through.
