Pinot Noir of this quality demands the right site — and our Fort Ross-Seaview block, at 1,400 feet above sea level, delivers it. The diurnal range is extraordinary; the soils are complex Goldridge and clay-loam over sandstone. The wine is as much about the place as the grape.

Nose

Ethereal and complex — wild strawberry and dried rose lead into notes of forest floor, spice, and a distinctive blood orange quality.

Palate

Silky and transparent with gossamer tannins and bright, high-toned acidity. This is Pinot Noir of genuine elegance — not power, but precision.

Finish

Long, fine, and compelling with a lingering spice note.
