MAUNA

MAUNA

Accessibility

What is built into this template, and what a real studio would still need to check.

Motion

The breathing hero, the fade-ups, the typing quotes and the image zooms are all removed under prefers-reduced-motion, and the breathing can be paused by anyone. No content depends on an animation having run.

Sound

Nothing plays until you opt in. There is no autoplay, and the control says what it does.

Hover

The teachers’ quotes are fully present in the page whether or not you can hover. Typing is a flourish on top of text that is already there, and keyboard focus triggers it too.

Contrast and structure

Body text and controls meet WCAG 2.2 AA against the surfaces they sit on. One h1 per page, a logical heading order, landmarks, a skip link and visible focus throughout.

Still to check

The building itself. MAUNA is on a third floor with no lift, which a real studio would have to say plainly — as this one does, on this page.

The stairs

The studio is on the third floor and the building has no lift. There are 48 stairs from the street, with a handrail on the right and a landing halfway. If that is a barrier, say so when you write — Sarita teaches a ground-floor chair class two streets away on Wednesdays and we would rather send you there than have you struggle.

MAUNA is a fictional studio built to demonstrate this template. The booking form, the class seats and the first-class offer are front-end demonstrations — nothing is sent, stored or charged.
