Common questions
Not at all. We treat patients at every life stage. Many adults choose orthodontic treatment to correct issues that affect their bite or oral hygiene, as well as for cosmetic reasons. Clear aligners in particular are very popular with adult patients.
Treatment length varies significantly by case. Minor crowding or spacing may be resolved in six to nine months with aligners. More complex cases, or cases requiring traditional braces, may take eighteen to twenty-four months. We give you a realistic estimate at your consultation.
You may feel some pressure or mild discomfort when you move to a new set of aligners — this is normal and usually passes within a day or two. Most patients find aligners far more comfortable than traditional braces.
