The approach

From darkness to a single light.

Every engagement runs the same way: we strip out assumptions, find one organising idea, build it for real, and hand you an instrument you can keep playing.

    Listen in the dark.

    We start by removing assumptions. Deep interviews, an audit of the category, and a search for the one true sentence at the centre of your brand.

  2. 02Phase 02

    Find the single light.

    We pursue one organising idea — a behaviour, a primitive, a gesture — that the entire system can be generated from. Fewer ideas, held harder.

  3. 03Phase 03

    Build it for real.

    Design and engineering, in lockstep. We prototype in the medium it will live in, so the work is accessible, performant and finished — not a mockup.

  4. 04Phase 04

    Hand over the keys.

    We deliver living systems, documentation and the tools your team needs to run the brand. The work should outlast the engagement.
