The brief
Helix had extraordinary technology and an identity that looked like every other infrastructure startup. They needed to feel like the category's adult in the room without losing engineering credibility.
Our approach
We grounded the brand in a single generative motif — a helix of nodes that re-forms as data moves — and built a strict, beautiful design system around it. The marketing site, the developer docs and the dashboard all share one grid, one type scale and one motion language, so the whole company feels engineered by the same hand.
The brief
Look as serious as the tech actually is.
World-class infrastructure wrapped in a generic gradient. Helix needed an identity with the same rigour as its protocol — credible to engineers, legible to capital.
The idea
Visualise the network honestly.
Rather than abstract 'tech' imagery, we drew the actual topology: nodes finding each other, links forming and dissolving. The brand became a true picture of how the thing works.
The build
One system, from landing page to dashboard.
We delivered a single design system — tokens, components, motion — spanning marketing, docs and product, so a developer never feels they've left the brand when they start building.
Outcomes
What changed.
The work is judged by what it moved — not by how it looked in a deck. Here is what the system did once it was live.

For the first time our brand is as precise as our code. That alignment closed the round.
