Pricing: Urgent care exams are $95–$115 (slightly higher than standard exams due to same-day scheduling priority). Diagnostics and treatments are billed separately. After-hours triage calls (guidance without an in-person visit) are complimentary for active NUZZLE patients. Members receive priority scheduling for urgent appointments and waived urgent care exam surcharges.

When your pet seems off and you can't wait for their next routine appointment, NUZZLE's urgent care service is here. We reserve same-day appointment slots every day for acute illness and injuries that aren't life-threatening emergencies. Our team triages calls promptly and gives honest guidance on whether your pet needs to be seen today, can wait for a next-day appointment, or requires immediate emergency referral.

What to expect

  1. Call or text our urgent care line — a licensed veterinary technician triages your concern in real time and determines appropriate urgency.

  2. Same-day appointment offered whenever possible; we communicate an expected wait time so you can plan your trip.

  3. Full urgent care exam, diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, X-ray) as indicated, and treatment initiated during the visit.

  4. Discharge with medications, home care instructions, and a follow-up plan; emergency referral facilitated immediately if 24-hour critical care is needed.
