Behavior & Nutrition
A happy, well-nourished pet is a healthy pet — we help you find the right balance.

About this service
Behavioral problems and nutritional imbalances are among the top reasons pets are surrendered to shelters, yet both are highly treatable with the right support. Dr. Sofia Reyes, our behavior and nutrition specialist, offers dedicated consultations for anxiety, aggression, inappropriate elimination, compulsive behaviors, and diet optimization. We work collaboratively with certified applied animal behaviorists (CAABs) and veterinary nutritionists when referral adds value.
What to expect
Intake questionnaire completed before your appointment — detailed history of behavior patterns, diet, household, and any prior interventions.
One-hour consultation with Dr. Reyes: behavioral history, physical exam (to rule out medical causes), and review of video footage you've captured at home.
Written behavior modification plan or nutritional prescription diet protocol; medications discussed when indicated (anti-anxiety, thyroid, etc.).
Two-week follow-up call included; progress recheck appointment at 6–8 weeks to assess response and refine the plan.
