Common questions about membership
Can I add multiple pets to one plan?
Each plan covers one pet. Multi-pet households receive a 10% discount on second and subsequent memberships — contact us when enrolling to apply this.
What if my pet needs something not included in the plan?
Everything outside your included benefits is billed at your member discount rate (15–20% off depending on plan). There are no hidden fees and no copays on included services.
Do plans cover emergency visits?
Urgent care visits at NUZZLE are covered at your member discount rate. Life-threatening emergencies requiring 24-hour critical care facilities are not covered by membership (we refer to BluePearl and VEG for those), but we waive the urgent care exam surcharge for all members.
Is the dental cleaning a full professional cleaning under anesthesia?
Yes. The dental cleaning included in Adult Care and Senior Partner plans is a complete professional cleaning: pre-anesthetic bloodwork, full-mouth digital dental radiographs, ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and fluoride. Extractions are billed separately if needed.
