Pricing: Spay/neuter for dogs starts at $350–$550 (size/weight dependent); cats start at $250–$325. Soft tissue procedures (mass removals, bladder stones, GI foreign body) are quoted individually after exam — typically $800–$2,500 depending on complexity. Orthopedic procedures (cruciate repair, fracture stabilization) are referred to a board-certified surgeon; we coordinate the referral and provide pre/post-operative care. Members receive 20% off all surgical procedures.

About this service

NUZZLE performs a broad range of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures in our fully equipped surgical suite. From routine spays and neuters to mass removals, GI foreign body retrievals, bladder stone surgeries, and wound repairs, Dr. Okafor brings board-eligible surgical skill and a thoughtful approach to every case. We use multimodal pain management before, during, and after procedures to minimize discomfort and support faster healing.

What to expect

Pre-surgical consultation and physical exam — we review your pet's history, discuss the procedure in detail, answer questions, and obtain consent.
Pre-anesthetic blood work and IV catheter placement; your pet is monitored with ECG, capnography, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and core temperature throughout.
Procedure performed in a sterile surgical suite; we call or text an update when your pet is out of surgery and in recovery.
Discharge with pain medications, e-collar, written aftercare instructions, and a 2-week recheck appointment included at no additional charge.
