Client Services

For the Life of the Watch

Ownership of a Calibre is the beginning of a relationship measured in decades. These are the services that sustain it.

Servicing & Restoration

Watch Care

A mechanical movement is a living instrument of several hundred components, and like any instrument it asks for periodic attention. Calibre recommends a complete service every five to seven years: full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, replacement of gaskets and worn components, re-lubrication with the appropriate oils for each friction point, regulation across six positions, and water-resistance testing.

Every service is carried out by a Calibre-trained watchmaker using parts from the original manufacture. Vintage and discontinued references are welcomed — our restoration atelier maintains the tooling and the institutional memory to return a fifty-year-old timepiece to specification without erasing the marks of its history.

Five Years, Worldwide

The International Warranty

Each Calibre timepiece is delivered with a five-year international warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, honoured at every Calibre boutique and authorised service centre worldwide.

Registration is completed at purchase and travels with the watch. The warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from accident or misuse, or service performed by unauthorised parties — but our client-services team will always advise on the most appropriate course of care, in or out of warranty.

Where to Find Us

Boutiques

Calibre maintains a small number of boutiques in the cities where horology is taken seriously — each staffed by specialists rather than salespeople, and each equipped with a servicing bench so that a timepiece need never travel further than necessary.

Appointments are encouraged for collection viewings, complication demonstrations, and private consultations. Walk-ins are always welcome for strap fittings, water-resistance checks, and the simple pleasure of seeing a movement under the loupe.

Made to Commission

Bespoke

For collectors who seek a timepiece that exists only once, the Calibre atelier accepts a limited number of bespoke commissions each year: a dial in a chosen guilloché and enamel, an engraved case-back, a complication specified to a personal requirement, a movement finished to an individual brief.

A commission begins with a conversation and proceeds over many months. The result is documented, numbered, and recorded in the manufacture's register — a singular object, made to be inherited.
