Battery architecture
Cells that carry the car.
VOLTA's 4680 structural cells are bonded into the floor, so the pack doubles as the chassis. It's stiffer and lighter than a bolt-on battery, and it drops the centre of gravity to where it belongs — low.
Each cell sits in an active liquid-cooling lattice that holds the whole pack in its ideal thermal window, whether you're sprinting up a grade or fast-charging in the heat.
