The Dome Room

Built into the shell of the first dome on the site, which held a 200 mm reflector from 2011 until Vaciado replaced the whole building in 2014. The dome no longer opens; the slit is glazed and the shutter mechanism is still bolted to the wall where it was.

It is the most atmospheric room here and the one we would put a photographer in. It is also the one with the most steps.
