Double-stacking gets the bandwidth down to about half an angstrom, which is the difference between a flat orange disc and a surface with structure on it. Prominences change visibly over a two-hour session; on a good day you can watch one detach.

This exists because the middle of the day at 2,480 m is otherwise dead time. Guests arrive in the afternoon, cannot observe for six hours, and are usually too wired to sleep. Solano fills that gap with something real.
