The spa
The Halcyon Spa occupies a low garden pavilion connected to the main building by a covered walkway through coastal scrub. It houses eight treatment rooms, a sea-water thermal pool, a Finnish sauna, a plunge pool, an outdoor halotherapy salt cave, and a clifftop yoga platform with an unbroken ocean view.
Everything is available to spa guests from 7 am to 9 pm. Treatment bookings can be made through the booking form, the concierge, or in person at the spa reception.
Every treatment draws on the textures, minerals and botanical richness of the Alentejo coast. Sea salt, coastal herbs, cold Atlantic water — the landscape is both the setting and the ingredient.
We believe rest is not the absence of activity but a skill. Our spa team is trained to meet each guest where they are — whether that means deep tissue release or complete stillness.
The thermal circuit is available from 7 am to 9 pm. Treatments are bookable on the day. There is no pressure, no programme, no clock — only your pace.

A deeply restorative full-body massage inspired by the rhythm of the tide — long, flowing strokes alternating with precise pressure to dissolve deep tension. Warmed coastal stones are placed along the spine; the session closes with a scalp and face sequence. Our most-requested treatment.
A full-body exfoliation using a blend of fine sea salt, sweet orange oil and cold-pressed coconut, followed by a hydrating wrap in warm towels and a coastal herb oil application. Skin emerges luminous and genuinely renewed.
Our signature facial combines a marine algae enzyme mask with a jade roller lymphatic massage and a targeted serum chosen for your skin's unique needs. The result is skin that looks as rested as you feel.
An outdoor session on the clifftop terrace at first light — a slow vinyasa flow followed by twenty minutes of guided pranayama breathwork. Limited to six participants. Mats, blankets and herbal tea provided.
The classic full-body Swedish massage using warm sesame and coconut oil. Gentle effleurage and petrissage strokes encourage deep muscular relaxation and improved circulation.
Firm, targeted pressure on chronically tense areas — shoulders, lower back, hips. Therapists are trained to adapt intensity precisely; the session is challenging and deeply effective.
A restorative facial for sun-exposed or dehydrated skin using cold-pressed seaweed extracts and hyaluronic acid masques. Includes shoulder and décolleté massage.
A two-stage body treatment: first a dry brushing session to stimulate lymphatic circulation, then a full-body wrap in warm clay infused with activated charcoal, sea minerals and rosemary. Followed by a 20-minute relaxation.
Side-by-side in our private couples suite: a shared scrub ritual, followed by simultaneous Tidal Drift Massages. The session concludes with fresh coconut water and a shared bath in the suite's freestanding tub, filled with coastal botanicals.
A guided relaxation session designed for guests who need to unwind after travel or simply wish to reset their sleep rhythm. Combines warm oil scalp massage, progressive muscle relaxation techniques and a sound bath sequence.
Self-guided access to our thermal circuit — a sea-water vitality pool, a Finnish sauna, a cool-water plunge pool and an outdoor halotherapy salt cave. A 20-minute reflexology sequence is included at the midpoint.
A side-lying massage specifically designed for expectant mothers from the second trimester onwards. Uses gentle, unscented oil; therapists hold specialist prenatal certification.
