About this suite
The Lantern Suite is a study in contrasts: the ocean is visible from every sea-facing window, vast and humbling; but the enclosed courtyard garden — accessible through tall doors of aged timber — is as intimate as a private drawing room. The suite is arranged around this duality, with the sitting room at the centre, the bedroom positioned to capture dawn light over the water, and the bathroom opening into the garden so that bathing happens half-outdoors, surrounded by jasmine and the evening songs of coastal birds. Each night, the courtyard is lit by the brass lanterns from which the suite takes its name.
