The Paramount Theatre
Built in 1915 as a vaudeville house and silent film theatre, the Paramount is now one of Texas's most beloved live event venues. The ornate grand theatre seats 1,200 and features stunning Art Deco interiors, a sweeping balcony, and exceptional acoustics.
For ASSEMBLY 2026, we take over the entire building across two days. Main stage talks in the grand theatre, breakout sessions in the rehearsal rooms, workshops in the gallery spaces, and the evening reception on the rooftop terrace.

By air
Fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), approximately 8 miles from the venue. A rideshare takes 20–30 minutes. Cap Metro Route 100 Airport Flyer runs every 30 minutes to downtown for $1.25.
By transit
Capital Metro bus lines serve Congress Ave throughout the day. The 7, 10, 20, and 300 routes stop within a block of the venue. MetroRapid 803 stops at 4th & Congress, a one-block walk.
By car
Parking is available at the Republic Square Garage at 422 Guadalupe St (2 blocks west). The Austin Convention Center Garage at 500 E Cesar Chavez St is 5 minutes walk south. Street parking is limited; rideshare recommended.
