About the conference

Built for the people who build things.

ASSEMBLY is a two-day conference for designers and engineers who care deeply about their craft. We started it because we were tired of conferences that felt like sales conventions. Everything here is designed to be useful.

Eighteen talks across three tracks — Design, Engineering, and Product — plus workshops, a speaker-led Q&A format, and plenty of structured time to actually meet people. No sponsored lanyards. No filler sessions. Just the good stuff.

Why come

Four reasons to be there.

Curated talks, not filler

Every session is hand-picked for depth and honesty. No vendor pitches, no slides padded with screenshots. Just practitioners sharing what they've actually learned.

A room of your peers

1,200 designers, engineers, and product builders from startups and the companies that shaped the industry. The hallway conversations are as good as the talks.

Austin in March

Warm, walkable, and full of energy before the summer heat. The Paramount Theatre is one of the most beautiful venues in the city — worth the trip alone.

Two dense days

Three tracks. Eighteen talks. Workshops. An evening reception. And a closing session where all speakers share what they're watching for in the year ahead.

The venue

The Paramount Theatre, Austin.

Built in 1915, the Paramount is one of Texas's most iconic venues. We take it over completely for two days — the grand stage, the balconies, the rooftop terrace — and turn it into the best conference space you've ever been in.
