OBJET is a curated storefront for postmodern design objects — vases, lamps, stools, mirrors and trays across four colour-clashing collections. The store itself is the piece of design: a broken asymmetric grid, a palette that morphs as you move between collections, draggable sticker decor and a scroll-driven product story. Fully static, with an explicitly labelled local demo backend for browsing, cart and checkout.

What makes it special
Palette that morphs
Each of the four collections carries its own clashing palette; moving between them smoothly transitions five runtime CSS variables, recolouring the entire UI at once — not element by element.
Objects drawn, not photographed
Every product render is original procedural SVG driven by a tiny recipe. Zero image weight, zero layout shift, and instant recolour as the palette changes.
A store that performs
Broken-grid parallax confetti, draggable fling-able stickers, a custom cursor with a geometric shape trail, kinetic marquees, and a confetti burst on add-to-cart — eight signature moments, every one gated behind reduced-motion.
Scroll-driven product story
The product page pins the object with GSAP ScrollTrigger; it rotates and scales while spec placards reveal in sequence, like a museum label coming apart.
Complete demo commerce, entirely static
An on-demand in-browser MSW backend answers local /api calls for catalogue, cart and checkout. The cart persists and example orders generate demo references, while the interface makes clear that no product is sold and no payment is processed.
