Backend · Supabase / Firebase
Recipes, plans and the pantry are a seeded data layer — connect a managed backend (Supabase or Firebase) for accounts and sync; the content maps onto your recipe API.
Native app — delivered as full Expo / React Native source. Swap the seeded recipes/plan for your API, add real food photography to the reserved-ratio slots, and ship to iOS/Android.

A signature cook mode
Full-screen, one step at a time: big serif instructions, ingredient callouts scaled to your serving count, built-in circular timers with last-seconds haptic ticks, keep-awake, segmented progress and a celebratory finish — all reduced-motion safe.
Shopping lists that build themselves
Generated from your weekly plan, grouped by aisle, with identical ingredients merged and scaled across recipes (garlic from three dishes becomes one line). Tap to check off, add custom items, share.
A weekly planner that does the math
Assign breakfast, lunch and dinner from a spring bottom-sheet, set servings per meal, navigate the week — then one tap rebuilds the shopping list, scaling ingredients and macros everywhere.
Recipes with real depth
Nine complete recipes — real ingredients, quantities, timed method steps, per-serving macros, chef tips and reviews — with a live serving scaler and an animated macro split.
Warm, senior-grade craft
A warm, appetizing design system (Fraunces + Inter + mono), a custom animated tab bar, procedural SVG food art, springy add-to-list toasts and an in-app reduce-motion override on top of the OS setting — every animation on the UI thread.
