Cinematic onboarding & a real plan engine
A 9-step quiz with an interactive body heat-map, a 'calculating…' build-up, then an animated plan reveal — count-up calorie target, macros and a projected date — powered by a real Mifflin-St Jeor engine, framed honestly (spot reduction is a myth).
A living-ember dashboard
The daily calorie ring breathes and drifts real ember particles; macro bars, a streak flame, today's workout and one-tap water logging sit around it. Motion implies metabolism.
An immersive workout player
A full-screen guided session: live countdown ring, work/rest colour states, haptic cues (including last-three-second ticks), pause/skip, rep phases, and a celebratory ember-burst finish.
Logging & progress as data-viz
Searchable food DB with a slide-up portion editor and live macro preview; an interactive weight chart with a gradient area fill, dashed goal line and a draggable scrubber + tooltip; plus an honest fat-science library.
Senior-grade craft
Custom animated tab bar, gradient text, ember pull-to-refresh, tasteful haptics, and an in-app reduce-motion override on top of the OS setting. Every animation runs on the UI thread (Reanimated).
