Imaging
The camera is the whole point.
Every airframe decision on STRATUS S2 was made in service of one thing: what the sensor sees, and how steady it sees it.
01 / Sensor
A 1/1.3" stacked sensor, tuned for sky.
8K/60 with a native dual-gain ISO switch holds highlight roll-off in open sky while keeping shadow detail usable under tree cover — no baked-in look, just clean 10-bit D-Log for the grade.
8K/60 · 10-bit D-Log · ISO 100–25,600
Straight off the sensor · D-Log
Gimbal-locked horizon · orbit mode
02 / Gimbal
A horizon that never tilts.
The 3-axis gimbal isolates the sensor from every correction the airframe makes — the shot stays level while the drone does whatever the wind demands of it.
3-axis · ±0.005° stabilization
03 / Transmission
A monitor feed you can actually judge focus on.
Dual-band O³ transmission holds a locked 1080p/60 downlink at up to 15 km — clean enough to pull focus and check exposure from the video village, not a compressed guess.
15 km · ≈120 ms latency
15 km out · still locked
