Real travellers, real journeys
We sat at the Mara River for two hours as thousands of wildebeest paced the bank. Then, all at once, they went. Nothing I've seen on a screen prepared me for the sound.
Our hosts in Haa Valley cooked us dinner, showed us photographs of their grandchildren, and then sang. It was the most unexpected evening of our lives.
At 5am, the Torres were dark. By 6am they were fire. I have been a travel photographer for twelve years. I have never deleted so few frames.
