Where does my donation actually go?
89 cents of every dollar goes straight to our programs — food, shelter, learning and care. The rest keeps the lights on and our accounts open and audited. We publish a full impact report every year.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Kindred is a registered charity, and we’ll email a receipt the moment your donation clears so you have it for your records.
How do I start volunteering?
Tell us a little about yourself on the get-involved page and our coordinator will be in touch with the next welcome session. No experience needed — just kindness and a couple of free hours.
