The story
Priya Anand sews in natural linen and nothing else — towels, napkins, the kind of scarf you reach for without thinking. Everything is cut and finished in a sunlit room with a single industrial machine and a lot of patience.
She pre-washes every yard so the linen arrives already soft, already lived-in. Flax & Thread is the opposite of fast: the goods are made to fray gently and last for years.
In the studio
Cut from European-milled linen, stonewashed twice, French-seamed. The slubs and soft creases are intrinsic to the cloth, not flaws.
