About AMBRE
AMBRE is a fictional chocolatier created to demonstrate a complete premium commerce journey. Its sample story follows single-origin cocoa from named lots through small-batch roasting, hand tempering, gifting and an honestly simulated checkout.

01
The sample catalog names origin, cocoa percentage and dietary details on every product so shoppers can compare without decoding marketing language.
02
Editorial sections translate harvest, fermentation, roasting and tempering into a story buyers can scan without losing the path to purchase.
03
The cart is real, the checkout total is real math, and the confirmation says plainly that no order is placed. Nothing here pretends to be a backend it isn't.
How the site works
This storefront runs entirely in your browser: no backend, no API calls. Adding to cart and placing an order update local state directly, persisted to this browser's localStorage — instant, and honestly labelled as a demo. Nothing is ever charged and no order is transmitted anywhere.
Every photograph on the site is real, self-hosted chocolate photography — bars, truffles, cocoa beans, gift boxes — converted to WebP at build time with explicit dimensions, so nothing shifts as the page loads and nothing is fetched from a third-party host at runtime.
Every field below is declared once, in one data file, and the shop keeps working:
