Three generations
GEN-1 · Pathfinder
2019 — 2021
Four demonstration satellites proved the optical stack, the downlink chain and on-orbit calibration. Retired and deorbited on schedule.
GEN-2 · Workhorse
2021 — 2024
Eighteen satellites brought daily national-scale coverage, inter-satellite links and the first on-board cloud screening.
GEN-3 · Current
2024 — present
Ten satellites with 50 cm optics, double the downlink rate, and propulsion for responsive re-phasing over priority regions.
