Traditional steel hairsprings are prone to magnetic corruption and thermal expansion. Calibre CQ-01 introduces a proprietary DRIE-etched monocrystalline silicon (SiO₂) hairspring with an integrated terminal curve, immune to magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss and laser-tuned to within 0.2 microns.
